Drier Set To Rock Again

First race is off at 12h30

Eight races are carded at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon. It’s another opportunity to participate in the Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge – if you finish in the top 20 on the leader board, you can win your share of R10 000.

The first is due off at 12h30.

Dennis Drier saddles Totally Rocks in Race 1 and she can give punters a good start to the day.

She was an easy winner in her last start over this course and distance. She showed good pace, found another kick and drew clear of the opposition. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since.

The tongue-tie has done the trick on the daughter of Canford Cliffs. She is the only winner in this contest and can follow up. Casa Rosada from the Garth Puller stable may be the horse to close off the meeting.

Her last three starts have been good. She set the pace over 1200m on the polytrack last time and stayed on at the finish.

It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. 4kgs claiming apprentice Siphesihle Hlengwa steps back into the saddle and with 50.5kgs on her back, she can return to winning ways.
