Trainer Dennis Drier saddles I Like It Hot in Race 1 and she can give punters a good start to the day.

Dennis Drier – big runner in opener today (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

She produced a promising debut effort over this distance on the turf, three weeks ago. She was green in running, but finished her race off strongly. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of What A Winter would have gained

from the experience and if suited to the polytrack, she should be the horse to beat.

Impartial from the Michael Roberts yard takes his place in Race 7. He should have finished closer in his last start as he hung in the latter stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since.

He gets the services of 4kgs claiming apprentice Donald Geerthsen and will strip much fitter. If keeping on a straight line, he should return to winning ways.

Please note that Craig Zackey is not riding today.
