Cape jockey Aldo Domeyer makes his way up North and he has four confirmed rides.

The first is due off at 11h55.

Maharanee from the Paul Peter stable can give punters a good start to the day. She was ultra-impressive when winning on debut over 1160m at Turffontein. She showed pace, found another kick and drew clear of the opposition.

It must be noted that the horse that finished third in that race has come out and won since.

The daughter of Flower Alley is the only winner in this contest and she looks to be above average. She should take a power of beating.

Trainer David Nieuwenhuizen saddles Golden Tune in the lucky last. His last two starts over further have been fair.

It must be noted that the form of his last outing was franked. His last victory came under 4kgs claiming apprentice Malesela Katjedi and with just 52kgs on his back, he can return to winning ways.
