De Kock’s Rafeef Will Enjoy The Extra Today

Bipot starts in second race @12h20

Turffontein plays host to a nine-race programme on the Inside course this afternoon.

The main event of the day is the Non-Black Type Allez France Stakes.

The first is due off at 11h50 with the lucky last set for 16h25.

Mike de Kock (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Beamonesque from the Mike de Kock stable takes his place in Race 2 and he is the best bet on the card.

He produced a promising debut effort over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

He moved up well and fought hard all the way to the line. It must be noted that Sovereign State has come out and won again since.

The son of Rafeef would have gained from the experience and will love the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the horse to beat.

Trainer Sean Tarry sends out Magical Flight in the lucky last.

She has decent recent form lines to her credit. She raced from a handy position over 1900m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack last time but found one too good in the form of Crazy Blues.

She has won twice, finished second once and third once from seven starts on this course. She jumps from a good draw of two and may be the one to side with.
