De Grendel Merchants Winner Goes To 110

How the handicappers saw the Cape Sunday feature

Dean Kannemeyer’s Outlaw King has had his rating increased from 106 to 110 following his victory in the De Grendel Gr2 Cape Merchants run over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday 22 December.

It was third-placed Surjay who was considered to be the most suitable line horse to assess this race, leaving his rating unchanged on 124.

In rating the race this way, fourth-placed finisher, The Real Prince also runs to his mark, effectively making him a line horse as well.
