Darley’s Quality Roster

18 high-class Gr1 winners

Darley Australia has announced fees for its incredibly strong 2022 roster.

The 18 stallions, who will stand in New South Wales and Victoria, are all Gr1 winners and offer strength, class and exceptional value.

Street Boss – A$77 000

Exceed And Excel at A$132,000 (including GST) retains his position as top stallion, supported by proven barn mate Street Boss at A$77,000 and sire-son Bivouac at A$66,000.

The 2022 roster is remarkable – 18 high-class stallions, all Gr1 winners with debuts from three elite first-season stars: five-time Gr1 winner Palace Pier (A$55,000); Champion 2YO Pinatubo (A$55,000); and Victor Ludorum, a Gr1 winner at two and three, who will stand at A$24,750.

With emerging sires such as Harry Angel (A$16,500), whose yearlings attracted numerous top buyers this year and Kermadec (A$16,500), already with a genuine weight-for-age star in Montefilia, it is the young stallions that stand out.

Supporting the three first-season stars are second-season sires Bivouac, the World Champion Sprinter, Ghaiyyath (A$27,500), the world’s best racehorse, and Champion two-year-old Earthlight (A$22,000).

Together with Too Darn Hot (A$44,000), Blue Point (A$44,000) and Microphone (A$33,000) who retired in 2020, Darley continues to offer breeders the world’s best racehorses, truly tested, well supported and at fees that enable everyone to benefit from the buoyant racing and bloodstock industry.
