Danielson May Be Two Steps Away From Victory

First due off @ 11h35

Today’s nine-race programme is off to an early start at Turffontein with the first carded for 11h35.

A reminder that entries for the Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is off. It’s free-to-play so get your selections in and join the excitement.

Jockey Raymond Danielson takes the ride on Twostep Queen  (Pic – Chase Liebenberg)

Twostep Queen from the in-form St John Gray stable may be the horse to close off the meeting. She has good recent form lines to her credit.

She raced from a handy position over 1600m last time but was caught late by Play With Fire.

The daughter of Potala Palace won her maiden over this course and distance.

Raymond Danielson is likely to use her early gate speed to overcome her awkward draw and she should be hard to peg back.

Trainer Robyn Klaasen sends out Fennec Fox in Race 5. She has taken on male company in her last two starts.

The daughter of Querari is unbeaten from two starts over this course and distance. She is back against her own sex and takes a slight drop in class.

If putting her best foot forward, she can win a race of this nature.
