CTS Incentivise 2yo Stakes Winners

Richest sales race in SA

The 2019 CTS Ready To Run Sale, scheduled for Friday, 22 November, has even more than the usual benefits available to buyers.

Alongside the customary exceptional quality of thoroughbred and the legendary CTS service, this year’s sale features two attractive extra offers.

Cape Thoroughbred Sales March Yearling Sales

First off, CTS has devised an exciting new bonus initiative.

There will be three bonuses of R250,000 each paid to the first three juvenile stakes winners bought at this year’s renewal of the sale. This is an enterprising campaign that will more than double the stake of some of these races.

There are 21 stakes races for two-year-olds around the country in the 2019/20 season with the first one being on Sun Met day, 1 February. This gives the early maturing graduates the opportunity to earn significant stakes within a short period of time.

Secondly, all graduates sold on the sale will qualify for a R1,25-million race for three-year-olds, to be staged the day after the 2020 Ready To Run Sale.

This will be the richest sales race in South Africa, aimed at and being staged at the right time for those thoroughbreds who take a bit more time to mature.
