CTS’ Long Weekend Spectacular

Kenilworth hosts three days of racing and sales

A capacity field of sixteen eligible graduates of the 2020 CTS Ready To Run Sales will line up to contest South Africa’s largest single race stake this season so far at Kenilworth on Saturday.

The R900 000 CTS De Grendel Ready To Run Stakes will pay the winner R460 000 with cheques all the way down to R17 000 for eighth placer in the non black-type 1400m contest.

Whatever Next – travels from Gqeberha (Pic – Pauline Herman)

Nine males and seven fairer sex gallopers, with two reserves make up a hotly contested final field, with Alan Greeff’s well performed East Cape resident Whatever Next heading a diverse nationally representative line-up, that includes Gauteng raiders Slings And Arrows (Candice Dawson) and Mounia (Sean Tarry).

The Gqeberha visitor looks tough to beat at the level weights.

Justin Snaith is represented by a quintet of runners, including recent MGAS Bloodstock Horses-In-Training Online Sale graduate Full House, who will be partnered by Devin Ashby.
