Cape Thoroughbred Sales (CTS) has confirmed that the date for the 2022 Cape Premier Yearling Sale is Sunday, 6 February, 2022, a week after the 2022 Cape Met.
Grant Knowles, Bloodstock and Marketing Director for CTS, commented: “We are pleased to advise vendors and buyers of this date, so that they can plan well ahead. As per tradition, the 2022 sale will be held in the spectacular late Cape summer and will be preceded by a golf day, and social functions. The sale itself will offer the customary CTS hospitality.”
Knowles reminds breeders that the deadline for entries for the 2021 CTS Ready To Run Sale at Kenilworth on 31 October has been extended from 1 July to 20 August 2021.
“We have had an increased demand from vendors after the cancellation of the KZN Yearling Sale, and our Ready To Run Sale will assist those breeders who have not yet had an opportunity to sell their horses.”
