99 lots on offer - but plenty of quality at sale

biarritz

Biarritz (Count Dubois – Corlia’s Bid) has four on offer – his only runner to date is a stakes winner!

Durbanville racecourse will host the inaugural CTS August 2YO Sale on Saturday 8 August. The one day sale, which is scheduled to kick off at 17h00 will see a small but select catalogue of 99 lots pass through the ring.

No fewer than 15 vendors are represented at the August Sale, with Rosedene Stud having the biggest draft of 14.

The Rosedene draft includes four by their exciting first crop sire Biarritz, whose only runner to date is Listed Irridescence Stakes winner Anglet.

Most of the country’s elite sires have offspring on offer, with prominent stallions represented at the CTS Sale including all of Captain Al, Dynasty, Silvano and Var.

Former Vodacom Durban July winner Greys Inn is the stallion with the largest draft on offer- the son of Zabeel (and sire of leading Equus Award contender Legal Eagle) has seven lots on sale, while the hugely promising young sire Elusive Fort (sire of G1 performers in both of his small first two crops) has six 2yos on sale.
