The Bipot starts in the first race at 12h30

Racing takes place on the Fairview turf track on Friday with eight races are carded.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Gavin Smith sends out Cruise Control in Race 5.

He showed plenty of speed when winning the Non-Black Type Speedsters Stakes last time.

He has won twice, finished second once and third once from eight starts over this distance.

The son of Querari is unbeaten under Sporting Post-sponsored Jockey Luyolo Mxothwa and in this field, he should keep that record intact.

Tirpitz from the Alan Greeff stable takes his place in Race 6.

He is better than his last start on the polytrack. His penultimate run when fifth over 1400m on this course was encouraging.

The son of Silvano will love the return to the turf and he should be at peak fitness.

He takes a drop back in class and it would not be a surprise to see him win a race of this nature.

Charles Ndlovu is not riding as he cannot be located.

The Enchanting Currency Of Fate

It is eerie to think that there would have been no Siren’s Call, Sound Of Warning, or for that matter Call To Unite, had fate not decreed that Enchanted Cove follow her dam to South Africa, and that Peter de Beyer had the foresight to return Elusive Fort back home from the States as well!
