A race almost as old as Johannesburg itself, the 137th renewal of the R6 million Betway Gr1 Summer Cup will be run at Turffontein on 30 November 2027.

A reminder that 41 big race entries remain after the scratching of Flag Man.
Second entries close at 11h00 on Tuesday 5 November, and final entries at 09h00 on Monday 18 November 2024, after which the weights will be announced.
Declarations must be in by 11h00 on Wednesday 20 November 2024 and barrier draws will be conducted at a Betway event on 20 November 2024.
The final big race log will be published on Tuesday 5 November 2024.
