Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Garth Puller saddles Corsican in Race 1 and he should give punters a good start to the day. He produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on the polytrack. The manner in which he finished off his race that day was encouraging.

The son of Eightfold Path would have gained from the experience and will love the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating in this line-up.

Looking Hot from the Weiho Marwing yard takes her place in Race 5. She showed some signs of a form return in her last start over this distance on the polytrack. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging.

The daughter of Time Thief has dropped to a competitive rating and if suited to this course, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
