Corrie’s Warrior Can Give Us A Flyer

The first is off at 12h45

Eight races are carded on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon.

The first is due off at 12h45 with the lucky last set for 16h50.

Secret Warrior from the Corrie Lensley stable takes his place in Race 1 and he should give punters a good start to the day.

He showed improvement when third over 1000m on this course last time.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since.

The son of Captain Of All is a progressive type and should enjoy the rise to 1200m.

If keeping on a straight line, he should be the one to beat.

Trainer Tony Peter sends out Mister Wilson in Race 5.

He won a good race when shedding his maiden tag over this course and distance last time. He showed good speed and found extra where it matters most.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since.

The son of Act Of War takes on older and stronger. However, he has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.
