Corne To Conquer At Vaal Today

Bipot starts in first at 12h25

Eight races are carded on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon. The first is due off at 12h25 with the lucky last scheduled for 16h28.

Rani Of Kittur from the Roy Magner stable takes her place in Race 5. She quickened up well when winning her last start over this distance.

She received a five-pound penalty for that victory. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and she can notch up her fourth-career victory.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Corne Spies sends out Cian The Conqueror in Race 7.

He showed good signs of a form return in his last start over this course and distance.

He was unlucky that day as he had to be switched at the 100m mark. Jarryd Penny retains the ride and with luck in running, he may be the one to beat.

Please note that Trent Mayhew and Siyabonga Mthembu will not be riding today.
