Gavin Lerena retains the ride on Key Worker in Race 2

Gavin Lerena will take the ride on Accept Cookies for Roy Magner in Race 3  (Pic – Candiese Lenferna)

Trainer Roy Magner sends out Accept Cookies in Race 3 and she is the best bet on the card.

She showed good improvement when third over this course and distance last time. The way she finished off her race that day was encouraging.

The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and with jockey Gavin Lerena at the helm, she should take a power of beating.

Juliet Tango from the Lorenzo Karriem stable takes her place in Race 8. She has shown signs of a form return in her last three starts.

She stayed on when fourth over 1600m at the Vaal last time. She has won once and finished second twice from five starts on this course.

Piere Strydom is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
