Congressman Can Lead Way In Opener

First due off @ 12h25

Hollywoodbets Durbanville is alongside Vaal this afternoon. Nine races have been carded with the first due off at 12h25.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on both today’s local racemeetings.

Congressman from the Andre Nel yard should give punters a good start to the day.

He showed good improvement in his last start over this course and distance. He set the pace that day but found one too good in the form of Midway.

The son of Querari would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter.

He gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time which may do the trick. He has scope in this field and with jockey Corne Orffer on board he should be the one to beat.

Trainer Brett Crawford sends out Big Unit in Race 5.

He should have finished closer to the winner in his last start over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth as he was held up for a run at the 300m mark.

He returns from a 16-week break, during which time he was gelded. He has won once and finished third once from three starts over this distance.

He is the stable elect with Luyolo Mxothwa in the saddle and if fit, he can return to winning ways.

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
