Clear Skies For KZN Capital City Racing Today

First off at noon

Nine races are carded at Hollywoodbets Scottsville this afternoon. There are three feature races including the Listed WSB Sledgehammer, Listed WSB Scarlet Lady and the Non-Black Type WSB Highland Night Cup.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h00.

Call To Glory from the Alec Laird stable is the possible Pick 6 banker in Race 4. She stayed on at the finish over this distance at Turffontein last time but found one too good in the form of Avoontoast.

The daughter of Kingman is a progressive type and if all went well with her travels, she should be the one to beat.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Corne Spies sends out Supreme Quest in Race 6. She finished 0.25 lengths behind Queen Of Shadows last time.

She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

She tries the 1750m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she is capable of returning to winning ways.

Jeff Syster will not be riding today.
