Jimmy The Rich writes Forever Mine from the Mike de Kock yard could be the possible banker in the last leg of the Pick 6.

He showed signs of needing his comeback run over 1200m at the Vaal last time. He showed good speed that day, but found one too good in the form of Mk’s Pride.

The son of Vercingetorix won on debut over this course and distance. He should strip a much fitter horse today and should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

Sean Tarry saddles Cirillo in the Grade 2 Ilha Bela Hawaii Stakes. He did not see out the 2000m of the Grade 1 Cape Town Met last time.

He has won twice and finished third once from as many starts over this course and distance.

He does have a wide draw to overcome today, but he is likely to use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.

The false rail is at zero on the back straight to 5m on the bend with a 5m spur at the 700m mark.

  • The Bipot starts in the second at 12h35
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third at 13h10
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth at 13h50
  • Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth race at 14h25
  • Jackpot 2 starts in the seventh race at 15h35

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
