A bumper entry has been received for the R2 million Gr1 SA Classic and the R1 million Gr1 SA Fillies Classic to be run at Turffontein on Saturday 7 April.

The second leg of the SA Triple Crown and SA Triple Tiara have attracted 18 and 19  entries respectively, with soon-to-be exported first leg winner Monks Hood an obvious absentee.

Takingthepeace – promising sort heads for the next step

Mike de Kock’s exciting Gauteng Guineas winner Takingthepeace takes her next step to racing history, and is the highest rated (104) of the 19 entries. The daughter of Visionaire has pulled a wide draw at 16, but races from off the pace and will come in at acceptance time.
