Eight races are carded on the polytrack at Fairview Racecourse this afternoon. Jockey Greg Cheyne has seven rides for trainer Alan Greeff and he has a couple of decent winning chances.
The first is due off at 12h15.
Greeff saddles Inherit The Rain in Race 7 and he is the best bet on the card. He ran a good race when finishing third over 1200m on the turf last time.

Greg Cheyne – 7 rides for top stable today
He was reported to be coughing that day. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this course and distance. Greg Cheyne steps back into the saddle and from pole position, he should notch up his sixth career victory.
Rattle Mouse from the Zietsman Oosthuizen yard represents decent each way value in Race 6. She is better than her last start over 1600m on the turf. Her penultimate run when finishing fourth over 2000m catches the eye. The daughter of Ideal World takes a big drop in class. Despite her big mass of 62.5kgs, she has the class to be competitive in this type of field.
Eldin Webber is not riding today.
