Chase And Willow Have Scope To Follow Up Today

First due off @ 12h35

An eight-race programme has been carded at Vaal this afternoon with the first due off at 12h35 and the lucky last set for 16h40.

Selections for the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is carded.

I Am Regal from the Paul Matchett stable takes her place in Race 4.

She raced from a handy position over this distance on the Classic course last time but found one too good in the form of Indian Ocean.

The daughter of Canford Cliffs takes a drop in class and with Muzi Yeni retaining the ride, she should notch up her fourth-career victory.

Trainer Lucky Houdalakis sends out Willowild in Race 6.

She was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over 1500m on this course, under jockey Chase Maujean, who retains the ride today.

She was slow into stride but got up where it matters most. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since.

The daughter of One World takes on stronger, but she has scope and should be up to the task at hand.
