Carryover Jackpot Today – Coronation Time To Rule

Jackpot first leg is off at 14h15

Nine races are carded at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth this afternoon. The weather in Cape Town is perfect.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 11h55.

Jackpot 1 starts in the fifth at 14h15 and enjoys a R200 000 carryover boost and a likely pool of  R750 000 is projected.

Siddeley from the Justin Snaith stable takes her place in Race 4 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She ran a good race when second in the Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery last time. It must be noted that Luna Halo has come out and won again since.

She returns from a 10-week break which would have done her the world of good. The daughter of Lancaster Bomber meets the right field and she is the horse to beat.

Trainer Greg Ennion saddles Coronation Time in Race 7.

He finished 0.75 lengths behind Mister Monocle last time.

He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The son of Louis The King is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.
