Frustration As Tote Crashes On Met Day

Silence from the authorities

The Saftote betting site is down with just an hour to go to the opening race on Cape Town Met day.

There has been no word from the authorities.

Frustrated punters have inundated the Sporting Post with inquiries and we are attempting to obtain a comment and indication from Phumelela.

This is not the first time that technical problems have been experienced by the national tote on a major day.

At this point, the pools are looking poor with the Bipot at just over R100 000, and the Place Accumulator less than R300 000.
