The Mikado from the Frank Robinson stable takes his place in Race 3 and he is the possible Pick 6 banker.

He produced a promising debut effort over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville, finishing second behind Kalahari Roller.

He lost a length leaving the start, understandably raced green but the way he finished off his race was eye-catching.

The son of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m.

Calvin Habib takes the ride and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

  • Here’s a replay of The Mikado’s debut effort:

Trainer Mike Miller sends out Sweet Symphony in Race 8 and she may be the one to close off the meeting.

She finished 2.8 lengths behind Convocation last time.

She is 6kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The daughter of Twice Over is having her peak run today and can return to winning ways.
