Busy Day For Rachel!

Hollywoodbets Greyville - first off at 12h35

Racing takes place on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville today and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and if you tip all eight winners on the card, you can win over R1 Million.

The first is due off at 12h35.

Jockey Gareth Wright has been stood down (medically indisposed).

Crazy Blues from the Gareth van Zyl yard takes her place in Race 6.

She followed up her maiden win with a decent fourth-place finish over 1200m on the turf. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day suggests that she will enjoy the extra furlong on offer.

In-form 2.5kgs claiming apprentice Rachel Venniker retains the ride and from her mid-field draw, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Dean Kannemeyer saddles Meet At The George in Race 7 and she represents decent each-way value.

She was her own worst enemy in the Gr3 Flamboyant Stakes last time as she overraced in the early stages.

She finished 0.1 lengths behind Twicethequality in her penultimate run and is 0.5kgs better off at the weights.

That should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is having her third run after a rest today and should be at peak fitness.
