Bumper Fields In KZN Capital City Today

The first is off at 12h25

Hollywoodbets Scottsville plays host to an eight-race programme this afternoon. It’s a well-filled card and should produce some competitive racing.

The first is due off at 12h25 with the lucky last set for 16h35.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge.  You could win as much as R1 940 000 for the all-or-nothing jackpot, when betting R50 or more on the programatically generated betslip. R10 000 must be won for the top 20 finishers on the day.

Trainer Glen Kotzen sends out Last One Standing in Race 1.

He produced an eye-catching debut effort at a long price, over this course and distance. He took time to find his feet but finished his race off strongly.

The son of Twice Over would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should go one better.

Pongola from the Michael Roberts yard takes his place in Race 8.

He ran a good race when third over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time.

He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he was switched for running room at the 200m mark. He is having his peak run today and with a bit of luck in running, he should be the one to beat.
