There are four feature races including the Gr3 WSB Langerman, Gr3 Final Fling Stakes, Listed Irridescence Stakes and the Listed Olympic Duel Stakes.

The first is due off at 12h05.

Strydom, who is in his final season, and set for retirement down in the fairest Cape will be looking to bow out with a Gr1 strike on possible SA Horse Of The Year See It Again on World Pool Gold Cup day at Hollywoodbets Greyville on 30 July.

The racecards for that racemeeting are now available.

On Saturday Striker takes three rides at what will be a chilly Southern Suburbs venue.

One of the better bets on the card, October Morn from the Candice Bass-Robinson stable takes her place in the Listed WSB Irridescence Stakes.

She was super-impressive when winning the Listed Perfect Promise Sprint last time. She quickened up well and won with a ton in hand.

The daughter of Trippi has plenty of class about her and if seeing out the 1500m, she should take a power of beating.

Trainer Eric Sands saddles Broadway Girl in the Gr3 Final Fling Stakes.

She finished 1.25 lengths behind Future Girl last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The daughter of Master Of My Fate will love the rise to 1950m. With a bit of luck from the widest draw of nine, she can return to winning ways.

  • The Bipot starts in the second race at 12h40
  • The Place Accumulator starts in the third race at 13h15
  • The Pick 6 starts in the fourth race at 13h50
  • The first Jackpot starts in the fifth race at 14h25
  • The second Jackpot starts in the seventh race at 15h35

A reminder to get your Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge entry in at least 5 minutes, but preferably well before the first race – off time is 12h00.

On current starters, the all or nothing jackpot, with a minimum R50 bet, could be as high as R1 940 000!
