Suikerbosview Offer Fabulous Four

On Saturday at 12h00

While their draft may be small in number, Suikerbosview Stud will be offering a quality consignment at the 2021 November Two Year Old on Saturday.

Suikerbosview’s four two-year-olds on sale were sired by such high-class performers as Act Of War, Capetown Noir, Futura and Twice Over.

Act Of War, whose stellar first crop was topped by champion War Of Athena and fellow G1 winner Battle Force, is responsible for a colt (Lot 6) whose sire and dam were both sired the mighty Dynasty! The colt on offer is out of the Dynasty mare Footsteps, a half-sister to no fewer than five stakes winners including G1 Premiers Champion Stakes queen Sentbydestiny.

Complicata (Lot 155) is a filly sired by Dynasty’s champion son, and fellow promising sire, Futura. From a truly exceptional female line, Complicata is herself a half-sister to six winners, including the stakes placed filly Europeana, and her third dam is a half-sister to dual Derby winner and hugely influential sire Shirley Heights.

Larny Lady, a winning own sister to G1 Met winner Angus, has a Capetown Noir filly (Lot 25) on offer, with this filly a half-sister to the stakes placed Euphoria and five other winners. This filly is from the same family as the graded stakes winning fillies Star Fighter and Winter Smoke -who, like the filly on sale, were both sired by sons of Western Winter!

Lot 25 – Unnamed (filly) by Cape Town Noir ex Larny Lady

Best known as the sire of dual G1 Vodacom Durban July winner Do It Again, champion Twice Over is represented here by a half-sister (Lot 124) to five winners including the smart performer Fort Red. Out of a winning sister to G3 winner Captain Corageous, this filly is from the same female line as champion fillies Prairie Oyster and Roland’s Song, to name but two!
