Braai & Gallop – Should Be A Great Day

First is due off @ 12h10

Racing takes place at Hollywoodbets Durbanville this afternoon and nine races are carded.

The main event of the day is the Listed Hollywoodbets Settlers Trophy and the first is due off at 12h10.

Trainer Glen Kotzen saddles Connery in Race 4 and he is the possible Pick 6 banker.

He was unlucky not to have won his last start as he raced wide around the turn. However, the way he finished off his race up the straight was eye-catching.

The son of What A Winter will love the rise to 1250m.

Raymond Danielson retains the ride and with a bit of luck in running, he should take a power of beating.

Senso Unico from the Vaughan Marshall stable takes his place in Race 7.

He is much better than his last start in the Grade 3 World Pool Gold Cup. His penultimate run in the Grade 3 DStv Gold Vase was decent.

He has won twice from three starts on this course. Luyolo Mxothwa takes over from Bernard Fayd’Herbe and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Jockey Bernard Fayd’Herbe will not be riding today.
