Jonsson Workwear have extended their sponsorship of the Gr1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes and announced a R250 000 stakes increase. The race will now carry a stake of R1 million, fitting for a race of significant importance on the racing calendar.
Along with the Gr1 Klawervlei Majorca Stakes and the Gr1 L Jaffee Empress Club Stakes, the Gr1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes forms the third leg of the unofficial fillies and mares WFA 1600m triple crown and is run on Vodacom Durban July day.
