Jallad mare Blushing Summer, in foal to Cape stallion Trippi, topped the Natal broodmare sale. Consigned by Summerhill, this sixteen year old dam of Gr3 winner Majestic Sun was knocked down at R220k on account of Novisara Stud.
The sale as a whole was not a great success, as 93 of the 196 lots catalogued went through unsold.
