The seven-time winner Christopher Robin topped the charts at the Bloodstock South Africa Randjesfontein September Sale held in Barn 19 at the training centre on Tuesday.

A 5yo entire son of Damage Is Done, Christopher Robin is a dual stakes winner and a horse with Summer Cup potential. He won his first start this season.

Christopher Robin (#31) fell to a bid by Oomph Telcoms Inc of R230 000 to easily be the topseller of 38 lots sold by veteran owner-trainer-breeder St John Gray, to rationalise his string, This followed the closure of his Vaal yard run by his late friend and colleague, Romeo Francis.

Buyers included KZN, Eastern Cape and local interests.

The 38 lots sold for a gross R957 000 and averaged R25 184,21.
