Binda Barman Can Serve The Cheer Today

First race is off at 12h30

Racing takes place on the polytrack at Hollywoodbets Greyville this afternoon and eight races are carded.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h30.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Clinton Binda saddles Dontshootthebarman in Race 4. He ran a good race when fourth over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time.

He received a bump leaving the start but showed pace before getting outrun late. The son of Visionaire tries the polytrack and with Keagan de Melo in the saddle, he can shed his maiden tag.

Capetown Affair from the Dennis Bosch stable may be the horse to close off the meeting.

He is better than his last start suggests.

He has won twice, finished second twice and third once from eight starts over this course and distance.

He is likely to use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy and may be hard to peg back in the run down to the line.
