The Peter Muscutt-trained filly Bevie’s Delight has been withdrawn from her carded engagement in the fourth race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday, as a precautionary measure and pending the completion of tests.

The withdrawal, which was registered by NHA Chief Stipe Ryan Hutcheson at 13h37 on Friday, was recorded as ‘Under Investigation’.

The reason for scratching elicited questions from Sporting Post readers.

A brief discussion with Mr Hutcheson on Saturday morning revealed that the withdrawal of the filly was done with the full co-operation of the trainer and that test results were awaited.

The Hollywoodbets Greyville first race is off at 12h40.
