The card includes jockeys whose names will be familiar to SA racing fans, including SAJA graduates Akash Aucharuz, Derreck David and 2023 L’Ormarins King’s Plate winning jockey Bernard Fayd’herbe. The latter, together with Stephen Donohue, are club riders.

Former Gauteng-based trainer Dominic Zaki sends out 6 runners, including Oxford Blue in the seventh. In trackwork earlier this week, the handsome chestnut was reported to be in fine fettle and will be a big runner under Derreck David.

The eight races are carded in the Winning Form which is available free here.

To watch Gallop TV at home,  you can either watch the live stream on www.galloptv.co.za via your mobile phone, tablet or PC if you have a high speed uncapped fibre line.
