First due off @ 12h50

Hollywoodbets Durbanville plays host to an eight-race programme this afternoon.

Please note that the time for the first has been adjusted from previously carded for 12h45 to now due off at 12h50.

Don’t forget to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this meeting as well as Hong Kong’s Sha Tin meeting today.

Bel Canto Dream from the Eric Sands stable takes his place in Race 4.

He showed very good improvement to win his maiden over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time.

He raced from a handy position, quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since.

The son of Oratorio takes on stronger, but he has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

Brett and James Crawford send out Show Off in Race 3. He showed improvement when fourth over 1400m on this course last time.

He finished 1.3 lengths behind Monkey Puzzle that day. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The son of Canford Cliffs is a progressive type and from his good draw of three, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
