Trainer Justin Snaith saddles Be Merry in Race 4 and she is the possible Pick 6 banker.

She made the expected natural improvement when second in her last start over 1000m on this course.

She showed good speed but was caught late by Furious Queen.

The daughter of Lancaster Bomber is a progressive type and if seeing out the extra furlong on offer, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

Daimyo from the Justin Snaith stable may be the horse to close off the meeting. He fought hard for his maiden victory over 1600m on this course.

It must be noted that the horse that finished fourth that day has come out and won since. He finished 0.4 lengths behind Blue Bay, three runs ago.

He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He has plenty of scope and can follow up with another victory.
