Back To The Country Course Today

First is off at 12h55

After a few weeks of dismal winter weather, the Cape is enjoying blue skies and racing is back at Hollywoodbets Durbanville this afternoon with seven races carded.

The first is due off at 12h55 with the lucky last set for 16h25.

Boogiefied from the Andre Nel stable takes his place in Race 1 and he should give punters a good start to the day.

He produced an encouraging debut effort over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He showed good pace, understandably raced green and found one too good in the form of Meu Capitano.

The son of Justify found betting support that day which suggests that he was showing good work at home. He would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be the one to beat.

Trainer Adam Marcus saddles Captive Moon in Race 7.

He stayed on when third over 1400m last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

The son of Flower Alley would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He carries a handy galloping mass of 53kgs and should be competitive.

Craig Bantam is not riding as he has no medical aid.
