Babylon The Pick 6 Banker Today

First Vaal race is at 12h30 - only seven races on card

Only 57 runners contest the seven-race programme scheduled on the Vaal Classic course this afternoon.

Don’t forget about the free to play Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge and the first is due off at 12h30.

Babylon from the Johan Janse van Vuuren stable takes his place in Race 2 and he is the possible Pick 6 banker.

He made the expected natural improvement when second in his last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course.

He raced from just off the pace, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Try Me. The son of Global View is a progressive type, and in this field, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Roy Magner sends out Kotinos in the lucky last and he represents decent each way value.

He produced a typical second run after a rest over 1600m last time. His penultimate run when second over this course and distance, catches the eye. He was settled at the rear of the field that day and ran on well.

He has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts on this course. The son of Var is having his peak run today and can return to winning ways.
