Ascot Sire Has First Runner Today

Fairview first is off at 12h35

An interesting runner in the opener at Fairview today is the Alan Greeff trained Delicasea, a first runner for Ascot Stud’s young Galileo sire, Global View.

A Group winner at 2 and 3, Global View’s first yearlings went for up to R1,3 million. He has four on offer at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale next month.

The Ascot Stud-bred Delicasea runs in a mixed sex 900m scurry – the Bipot opener on the card. She is out of the Var five-time winner, Caviar.

Her trainer expects her to run well, if not too green.
