Appeal to Buyers

Cape Premier Yearling Sale Book 2

If you have raced in the Western Cape, then you would be familiar with the following names: Riaan Van Reenen, Harold Crawford, Dolfie Maeder, John Mcdonald, Shane Humby, Stephen Page, Alan Higgins and Ronnie Sheehan, just to mention a few.

All very capable trainers with graded winners to their names. These gentlemen are well respected in the industry and each individual has stood the test of time.

Consider them when you put your hand up at the sale this week at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale Book 2 as they often lack the buying power that other big stables have. Everyone needs a chance and often a kind-hearted gesture leads to reward.

They pay rent for their boxes and need that special horse to make it all worthwhile. Money can’t buy experience but in this industry it certainly can buy a pedigree that could change a trainer’s life forever.

Go on and give them a chance or at least some consideration.
