An Early Start!

Hollywoodbets Greyville racing starts at 11h10

An exciting ten-race programme is scheduled at Hollywoodbets Greyville on the turf today as Champions Season 2023 is launched.

There are three feature races including the Gr2 Independent On Saturday Drill Hall Stakes, Gr2 World Sports Betting Fillies Guineas and the Gr2 World Sports Betting Guineas.

It is an early start to the day with the first due off at 11h10.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored trainer Peter Muscutt saddles Thisiswhatitmeans in Race 2.

He produced a promising debut effort over 1000m on this course. He took time to find his feet, but the manner in which he finished off his race was eye-catching.

The son of What A Winter would have gained from the experience and will love the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, he should take a power of beating.

Sweet Symphony from the Mike Miller stable represents decent each way value in Race 9.

She finished 1.45 lengths behind Ancient Epic last time. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

The daughter of Twice Over takes a slight drop in class and from her good draw of four, she can notch up her third career victory.
