Domeyer Hong Kong Debut

Cape champion starts next chapter of his career

Newly licensed South African and Cape Champion  jockey Aldo Domeyer could bring home a winner on his first day of race riding at Happy Valley on Wednesday.

Arcada, his ride in Race 8, the Hung Hom Handicap over 1650m, loves the course and distance.

Domeyer will ride and he has a live chance of taking home a winner. He’ll find himself in the right spot from a No 4 draw.

Perfect Pair is chasing a hat-trick and he steps up to Class 3 for the first time which is always difficult but he’s shown plenty of natural talent.

Vincy has the pole draw on his side and should improve back on the turf from the dirt.

Marzouq struggled on the speed last start but his best is up to this.

Domeyer also has rides in Race 4, the To Kwa Wan Handicap where he rides CP Power over 1650m; and Prince Dragon in Race 5, the Cheung Sha Wan Handicap over 1200m; but neither appear to be threatening the favourites.
