Champion trainer Alan Greeff will defend his titles in both features – the Listed Milkwood Stakes and the Fairview 1400 (Non-Black-Type) – on the Fairview turf track today.
Henk Steenkamp writes that last year Greeff won the Milkwood Stakes for fillies and mares with Racine. She is one of four Greeff runners in the race and will be joined this time by her stablemates Gin Fizz, Mendocino and Vodka Lime.
Madame Speaker was last year’s winner of the Fairview 1400. She has since retired but Greeff will defend his title with Carioca, Kimberley Star and Philos.
