A Star Performer At Hollywoodbets Durbanville Today!

First due off at 12h10

Hollywoodbets Durbanville plays host to a ten-race programme this afternoon. There is a R250 000 carryover for Jackpot 1 with a likely pool of R1 million.

The going is reported to be good and with clear skies, we should be in for a good day of horseracing.

Don’t forget about the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge with the first due off at 12h10.

Vaughan Marshall

Star Performer from the Vaughan Marshall stable takes his place in Race 1. He produced two eye-catching efforts in KZN. He raced from just off the pace over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time but was caught late by Sovereign State who has come out and won again since.

The son of What A Winter is having his first run for the stable. He is a horse with ability and if suited to this course, he should take a power of beating.

Trainer Candice Bass-Robinson saddles Rainbow Lorikeet in Race 8. She was an easy maiden winner at the fourth time of asking. The way she quickened up away from the opposition that day was encouraging.

She does take on stronger but looks to have ability and should be up to the task at hand. The daughter of Querari is the stable elect with Aldo Domeyer in the saddle.

Jockey Sean Veale and Jockey Juan Paul v’d Merwe will not be riding today.
