A Quiet Rebellion Looms At Turffontein Today

First due off @ 12h00

A nine-race programme is on the cards for the Turffontein Standside this afternoon.

The first is due off at 12h00 with the lucky last scheduled for 16h40.

A reminder to take the free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on this racemeeting.

Hollywoodbets-sponsored Trainer Stuart Pettigrew sends out Quiet Rebellion in Race 6. She has fair recent form lines to her name.

She was slow into stride over this distance last time and stayed on at the finish. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked.

She has won once and finished third once from three starts over this course and distance.

If getting away to a clean start from pole position, she can return to winning ways.

Risky Business from the St John Gray stable represents decent each way value in Race 9.

She has fair consistent form lines to her name. She stayed on when fifth over this course and distance last time.

The daughter of Querari would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter.

Muzi Yeni gets back into the saddle and with a bit of luck in running, she can return to winning ways.

Please note that Louis Nhlapo is not riding today.

The Inspiring Story Of Dr Marianne Thomson

‘I am writing this as an older, small breeder and in our language, Markus, because this is our war. If I phoned you, I’d be overwhelmed by business jargon within a minute. What makes you so angry that you don’t care what you are doing to our shaky industry? How do you deal with this in your inner, quiet self?’
