Lot 194 – Eye Opener (f) by One World ex Open My Eyes
Sire sensation One World is not only the sire of current star three-year-old One Stripe but is also responsible for a number of classy fillies, including Betway Gr3 Fillies Mile winner World Of Alice, Gr2 Cartier Sceptre Stakes runner up Roccapina and Listed Somerset 1200 runner up Miss World.
With a number of well-bred fillies yet to race, One World’s tally of talented daughters looks sure to grow considerably.
Dam is a twice-winning half-sister to Gr3 Algoa Cup runner up Malabar, has produced five winners, including a full-brother to the filly on sale, Listed Racing Association Stakes runner up Look For Hounds and millionaire Coastal Commander.
She is a daughter of Kahal, whose daughters have produced such Gr1 winners as Royal Victory, Chimichuri Run and Mrs Geriatrix.
Lot 205 – Big John Mac (c) by Talk Of The Town ex Saints Alive
Sire a son of the late, great Var, won three of just five starts, came up with the smart performers Miss Lia, Sakurajima, and Famous Lady in his small first crop.
Bred on the same cross as Betway Gr3 Mother Russia Stakes third Miss Lia, out of Saints Alive, a three-time winning own-sister to Safe Harbour, who finished second in all of the Gr1 Cape Fillies Guineas, Gr1 Paddock Stakes and Gr1 SA Fillies Classic.
A direct descendant of Sister Sublime, dam’s granddam is Gr1 Lancome Handicap winner Saintly Lady.
