A Possible 6th In The 6th For Fabian’s Hi Rise

First due off @ 12h55

The Betway Gr3 London News Stakes headlines today’s eight-race programme at Turffontein. The first is due off at 12h55 with the lucky last set for 17h05.

Stand a chance to win big with today’s free-to-play Hollywoodbets Punters’ Challenge on both the local racemeetings – selections must be in at least 5 minutes before the first is off.

Trainer Fabian Habib sends out Vegas Hi Rise in Race 6. He is better than his last start over this course and distance.

He finished 1.25 lengths behind Warm Winter Nite in his penultimate run.

He is 5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

He drops back in class and can notch up his sixth-career victory.

The Ultimate King from the Tony Peter stable takes his place in Race 4. He showed very good improvement when third over 1500m on the Vaal Classic course last time.

He was slow into stride but stayed on nicely at the finish.

It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The son of Vercingetorix will love the rise to 1800m.

He is drawn widest of all in barrier 13 but gets the services of Gavin Lerena who will give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.
